The Roots of Sikar

KCPC Bandhani began in 1978 in the narrow lanes of Sikar, Rajasthan. Under the wisdom of Mr Nanumal Maalchand Gurarawala Ji, a small family store was created not simply to sell fabric, but to protect generations of Bandhani and handloom craftsmanship.

The responsibility later passed to Mr Amarchand Gurarawala Ji, who carried the legacy forward alongside skilled artisans for more than two decades.

As fast fashion and powerloom production expanded, traditional artisans faced a difficult choice. KCPC chose to stand with the craft, the makers and the stories behind every hand-tied knot.

In 2019, CA Piyush Agarwal joined the family business with a belief that tradition did not need to disappear — it needed a better way to reach people.

Video-based shopping, live interaction and WhatsApp selling brought the vibrant shop floors and authentic textures of Sikar directly to customers.
